1. Be Prepared
Don't leave your party preparations to the day before or day of. The last thing you want to be doing is decorating a cake the morning of the party. Have your guest list confirmed, party supplies purchased and food arrangements made early on in the week.
2. Invite YOUR Friends
Make sure that you invite some friends and family that will keep you company and offer help on the day. The kids are going to be occupied and having fun, so you'll need a great crowd to enjoy your own party with.
3. Arrive Early
Arrive early on the day in order to setup your party area and greet your guests. Allow plenty of time if you're picking up other kids or supplies on the way. so that you aren't the last to arrive to your own party.
4. Get Siblings Involved
If siblings are of a similar age, make sure to include them in the party numbers. If not, maybe arrange for them to bring a friend so that they can be entertained and allow you to have a more enjoyable party.
5. Relax and Enjoy
Relax and don't stress. One of the main benefits of having the party outside of your home is that there is a lot less for you to be worried about. Come into the party with a relaxed mindset and don't fret over minor details.
